1. Credit Purchases
Katana AI Studio uses a credit-based pricing model. You purchase credits in packs, and credits are consumed as you generate content. Credits do not expire.
2. Refund Eligibility
You may request a refund of the purchase price of a credit pack within 14 days of purchase if:
- You have not used any of the credits from that purchase; or
- You experienced a technical issue with the Service that prevented you from using the credits, and we were unable to resolve it.
Partial refunds may be granted at our discretion if you have used a small portion of the credits and experienced significant service issues.
3. Non-Refundable Items
- Credits that have been consumed by generations, whether the output met your expectations or not (AI output quality varies and is inherently subjective);
- Welcome credits or promotional credits, which have no cash value;
- Purchases where the account has been terminated for violation of our Terms of Service.
4. How to Request a Refund
Email info@katana-ai.studio with:
- The email address associated with your account;
- The approximate date and amount of the purchase;
- A brief explanation of the reason for your request.
We aim to respond within 2 business days.
5. Processing Time
Approved refunds are processed via Stripe back to the original payment method. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5-10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.
6. Chargebacks
If you believe a charge was made in error, please contact us before initiating a chargeback with your bank or card issuer. Chargebacks incur fees and may result in suspension of your account pending resolution. We are committed to resolving legitimate billing issues quickly and fairly.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. Changes apply to purchases made after the updated policy takes effect.
